Not to be confused with “Arab Nations”, the Arab League is a group of nations who entered into a treaty in Cairo just following World War II in 1945. Seeing as how the world was scheduled to go through a major shift as far as territories and national borders, many of the Arab countries sought to combine forces so as to promote their shared interests (specifically maintaining their independence and sovereignty).
